Our noteworthy Pinot Noir sold out in its first four vintage years of 2012 to 2015 and has several restaurants and wine stores waiting for its 2016 vintage release in September 2017. Its cassis, plum, violet and mineral notes complement fine tannins and flavours of toasty oak. Our organic Pinot Noir grapes are thoroughly pampered in the vineyard, planted on prime real estate – a protected slope of the estate – and held to a yield of 1.3 tonnes per acre by meticulous cropping down. This attentive crop management sets our wine apart, ensuring only the best fruit is harvested.
To maximize juice exposure to the complexities of the skin, the must was punched down twice a day then aged in French oak barrels. Our Pinot Noir is the perfect complement to a variety of menus, including charcuterie, light pasta dishes and grilled or roasted meats.
